A few years ago, I worked for BT in Bristol and made some wonderful friends during my time there.
Since my diagnosis they have rallied around me and want to help in any way they can.
Next week, on 3rd October, an incredible crew of 8 former colleagues are going to trek all day, come rain or shine, across the Brecon Beacons to raise money to help fund a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
I can’t walk such distances anymore, but I’ll be there to see them off and cheer them in!
They’re walking the Bannau Brycheiniog (horseshoe ridge) in Wales to raise £5,000 for the MND Association – which will directly fund research into effective treatments.
That’s £1 for each of the 5,000 people estimated to be living with MND in the UK.
Please donate if you can, using the link below:

Best of luck guys and a special thanks to Tim D’Aubney for organising the trek and meeting up regularly for a beer 🙂
Good luck guys. We want a feature length video please 😉
Unfortunately we didn’t get any video, but we did get on the MND Association social media feed with a great photo!
